Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about booking, preparing for, and receiving your test results.
Do I need to fast before my test?
For blood sugar, lipid profile, and most metabolic panels, fast for 8 to 12 hours (water is fine). Routine tests like CBC, thyroid, vitamin D, and HbA1c do not require fasting. If you are not sure, call us at 01-4891152 and we will confirm based on the test you are booking.
How will I get my report?
Most lab reports are ready the same day. You can collect a printed copy in person, or receive a soft copy via WhatsApp and email at no extra cost. Imaging reports (X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, ECHO) are typically ready within 1 to 2 hours of the scan.
Do you offer home sample collection?
Yes. We offer home blood sample collection within the Kathmandu Valley for a small additional fee. Call 01-4891152 or message us on WhatsApp at 9707753270 to schedule a same-day or next-day collection.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay, FonePay, and bank transfer. Payment is collected at the time of sample collection or before the test. You will receive a printed bill for insurance or reimbursement claims.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome 7 AM to 8 PM, every day of the week, no appointment needed. Booking ahead via the form on this page helps us prepare for high-volume tests and reduces your wait time, especially for fasting blood draws between 7 and 10 AM.
Do I need a doctor's prescription to get a test?
For most lab tests and packages you can book directly without a prescription. A few specialised tests may require a doctor's referral, and our reception will guide you if so. Bring any previous reports if you have them so the doctor can compare trends.
