Preparation

No fasting needed, but you must collect every drop of urine over a full 24-hour period in the container we provide. On the morning you start, empty your bladder into the toilet and note the time — that urine is discarded. From then on, collect all urine through the day and night, including the next morning's first pass at the same time. Keep the container cool, and tell us about any vitamin D, calcium, antacid, or diuretic medicines you are taking.
