Preparation

Collect every drop of urine over a full 24 hours in the container we provide. On the morning you start, empty your bladder into the toilet and note the time — that urine is discarded. From then on, collect all urine, including the very first sample of the next morning at the same time. Keep the container cool and bring it in promptly. Avoid vigorous exercise during the collection day, and tell us if you are menstruating or have a current urinary infection, as both can affect the result.
