Preparation

No fasting needed. An early-morning or random spot sample is fine. Avoid vigorous exercise just before collection, and let us know if you are menstruating or have a urinary infection, as both can raise the result temporarily. If a timed (24-hour) collection is requested instead, we will give you the container and instructions.
